The Angel City Games is not just about athletes who are ready to compete for medals, but also about helping prepare the adaptive athletes of tomorrow. Sports clinics are perfect for new athletes who are exploring adaptive sports for the first time, or getting their first exposure to instruction from trained coaches, all in a fun and inclusive environment for participants of all ages and physical abilities.
Our Wheelchair Tennis clinic features instruction in proper use of equipment and a variety of core, wheelchair tennis skills including chair movement, racquet skills and game situations. Athletes may rotate across various stations for different instruction throughout the clinic. This clinic is suited for any wheelchair athlete who wants to participate, regardless of age or skill level. Sports chairs will be available if needed. Clinic will be held at the LA Tennis Center across from Drake Stadium.
Clinic Schedule: Friday June 21st, 2pm-5pm at the LA Tennis Center.
