The Angel City Games, presented by The Hartford, is not just about athletes who are ready to compete for medals, but also about helping prepare the adaptive athletes of tomorrow. Sports clinics are perfect for new athletes who are exploring adaptive sports for the first time, or getting their first exposure to instruction from trained coaches, all in a fun and inclusive environment for participants of all ages and physical abilities.
Our Sitting Volleyball Clinic will feature instruction on fundamental skills as well as key sitting volleyball rules and player movement and mobility. The clinic will feature several stations and athletes will rotate across these stations for different instruction. This clinic is open to athletes of all ages with any physical disability or mobility impairment, or able-bodied. We encourage family members, friends and caregivers to join this experience!
* It is recommended that athletes be able to sit on the floor and move around unassisted; however, accommodations can be made for those who require the use of a wheelchair.
Clinic Schedule: Sunday, June 23rd, 8am-9am on Collins Court in the John Wooden Center.
The Sitting Volleyball Tournament is open to athletes ages 14 and older. This competition is open to athletes of all ages with any physical disability or mobility impairment, or able-bodied. We encourage family members, friends and caregivers to join this experience. Registration is open to both teams and individual athletes. Please provide your skill level in registration to be adequately placed. Individual athletes will either create additional teams or be added to an existing teams depending on demand. Teams can have no more than 9 players and no fewer than 7.
