Clinic Details

The Angel City Games, presented by The Hartford, is not just about athletes who are ready to compete for medals, but also about helping prepare the adaptive athletes of tomorrow. Sports clinics are perfect for new athletes who are exploring adaptive sports for the first time, or getting their first exposure to instruction from trained coaches, all in a fun and inclusive environment.

Our Powerlifting Clinic will focus on proper technique and form. This clinic is suited for athletes ages 14 and older who want to participate- all skill levels are welcome. This clinic is open to male and female athletes who meet the current minimal eligibility criteria, can perform safely and appropriately, according to the IPC Powerlifting rules, and with any of the following eight eligible impairments: impaired muscle power, impaired passive range of movement, limb deficiency, leg length difference, short stature, hypertonia, staxia and athetosis; or, with a range of physical disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord injuries, lower limb loss and poliomyelitis.
